Working at writing again and to get started on this blog. I am attracted to life in the rural setting finding what I need in what is around me.
I am a prepper at heart, looking back some 30 plus years I purchased several books about edible plants, how to make almost anything, and natural herbal remedies. I love being self sufficient just at times am quite lazy about getting it all done.
Today church is cancelled and I have been helping my wife clean up and re organize our basement storage. Great time together and it really does look better. Not sure if we will ever get done but at least it is a start.
Here in the wilderness the snow is in piles and the air is that refreshing arctic stuff that winters are made of. This offers time to reflect on what life is made of and for. Recently I read an article My Problem With the Bible that says a lot of things I have been thinking about.
